		<description>jQuery events can be bound to a DOM element or document for general events. Remember that events can be namespaced, so you can stick a bunch of events on document namespaced to your code without major problems.</description>

I ask because we&#039;re trying to set up a notification mechanism for a client-side Model-View-Presenter architecture. While the View is obviously associated with a portion of the DOM, the Model and Presenter aren&#039;t.</description>
